J.S. Bach - Das Wohltemperierte Klavier Book I & II
Tatiana Nikolayeva recorded Das Wohltemperierte Klavier twice, once in early 70's and the second in the mid 80's. You might like to check out the Bach CD section for more info on this release and other releases reagrding 'Das Wohltemperierte Klavier'. Click here for link.
Cover photo on the right is taken from the recording which is recorded at Imaichi Public Hall in Japan; book I was recorded in 1984, book II in 1985.
These Japan JVC Victor recordings are also released on Olympia and Melodiya.
J.S. Bach - Goldberg Variations, BWV988
Tatiana Nikolayeva recorded the Goldberg Variations five times, the first in 1970 and the last in 1992. The cover shown here is her BBC release from 1986 and is her 3rd recording and ..... this is a must-have CD.
Shostakovich - 24 Preludes & Fugues Op.87
Tatiana Nikolayeva recorded the complete cyclus four times. One is released on DVD only. She recorded also 3 Preludes & Fugues Op.87 in the early 50's and these are only released on vinyl.
This is Nikolayeva's 1st recording of the Op. 87 Preludes and Fugues recorded in 1962 in Moscow and orginally released on vinyl. This 3CD set was made from the original master tape in the best condition as of today and released in Japan in 2009. This 1962 recording is also released on Doremi, this in 2010.
